It's for kids, teenagers-- mostly high schoolers or freshly graduated-- whose lives were miserable, cruel, and unfair enough that we never had a chance at living a normal life. So we get a boarding school afterlife, where nothing should hurt but we're still left with our memories. If you get over them you stop existing and someone else gets to live. Like it never happened.
