Since the whole place is in shambles anyway, does anyone with building skill want to help me make a new building for a coffee house? I'm willing to work as long as whoever I'm working with actually knows what they're doing, because I don't.

No, she's just heading off to get out of some of the mess to take her socks off, since they're pretty much just getting covered in mud and mess anyway and making her a lot more uncomfortable than if she had bare legs. Sure, it might not be as warm, but it's not itchy at least. ]

I guarantee you I am as violent as I seem. As long as no permanent damage is done, I won't really regret much.

Permanence is an interesting dilemma here, though. One could argue nothing here is permanent, and thus anything is fair game.

If you cripple someone, you can't get them back from that. Killing someone isn't right either, if only here because when you come back they're missing something important. So even if I wouldn't feel too bad about it here, it'd still be a pain in the ass since there's no auto-recovery. Back in the afterlife I didn't care at all because full recovery took less than a day for even the worst of injuries.

And yet once they go back home, all is forgiven as if nothing happened.

Not that I'm objecting to your guidelines. After all, there's never any telling how long it will take someone to return home from here.
