Then running after...

Then leaping toward his back... ]

[... and connecting with his back, instinctively causing him to prance and start into a wild gallop.
His mad dash stops pretty quickly, however, as he realizes running really shouldn't be easier than walking. And also that he's not a Ponyta. Prancing is a Ponyta thing. The sudden realization is enough to make him slow down and go back to stumbling like an idiot.
And idiot with someone on his back, hopefully. As much as he didn't want Yuri to ride him, he'd feel pretty bad if she got hurt. Secretly.]

[ Aaand she holds on for dear life until he slows down again, then adjusts herself so she's sitting properly on his back. ]

That's much better, don't you think?

[As flexible as Suicune's neck might be, it's not quite enough to properly look at his back... but there is something about the quick glance he manages to give Yuri that screams "you've got to be kidding me".

And so he sits down with an expression of hurt pride on his face, completely uncooperative.]

[ Eusine, you should just take advantage of this. You can fairly say you had a girl ride you. AHEM.

Anyway, Yuri wraps her arms around his neck so that she can hold on when he sits down. ]

Stop being a butt and let me ride and I'll leave you alone. I don't have any balls of any kind, so you don't have to worry about anything.

Asking him not to be a butt is like asking a teenager not to do something. He's more likely to do it on purpose just to be annoying.
Which is why he grins and... falls to his side.

He may fail at walking, but he has the lazy dog poses down pat.]

[ Yuri yelps, then gives him an annoyed look. You know what fine. She gets up, then just sits on his lazyass. GOOD LUCK GETTING UP AGAIN. ]

[oh COME ON.
Sitting on people is cheating! Eusine is frowning so hard right now. So hard.
... So hard he "pffts" at Yuri, involuntarily spitting a small jet of water in her general direction. Oops.]

[ AND SHE GETS WET. Which promptly causes yelling. From her seat. ]

You spit on me!

[And now he can also say he got a girl wet- okay no I'm terrible... And his face goes from "I didn't know I could do that" to "I should have guessed I could do that" to "You totally deserved it".
Now if only he could figure out how to do it again...]

[ He got his fluid all over her face- why is everything they do horrible? BOPS HIM IN THE NOSE. ]

Don't do that again.

[Because the rule of funny is a beautiful thing STICKS HIS TONGUE OUT. YOU CAN'T TELL HIM WHAT TO DOOO
He'll be trying to get up now. It's a bit complicated, since Yuri is sitting on him, so he just... tries to shake her off by shaking his butt.
Yeah, there really isn't a more elegant way to describe this.]

[ HMPH. She's going to like, half-lay down on top of him to make sure she doesn't fall off. This is a battle of wills! Plus she's got her arms around him now to make sure that she doesn't get off. If nothing else, she's stubborn as all hell. ]

[Alas, Eusine can only reply to this stubbornness with MORE stubbornness. Giving up and accepting his fate? Not part of his vocabulary.

Which is why he stops struggling, quietly finishes getting back up and doesn't say a word?
Suspicious.]

[ Yuri's just going to narrow her eyes at that suspicious maneuver and subtly dig her heels in to his side. Not enough to hurt, but enough that she thinks she's got a good enough grip.]

[Oh, he doesn't move an inch... if you exclude the fact he's crunching up his face with concentration.
He can do this. He's a Pokémon now. And not just any Pokémon! Surely he can get this to work-

Around them, the temperature suddenly drops by a few degrees.]

[ She shivers at the sudden temperature change but doesn't move just yet, except to sigh because stupid weather. She doesn't even know if he's the one doing it. ]

[hark_a_suicune]

[The temperature keeps dropping, and before long... a very localized hail starts falling on the both of them!

Of course, Eusine looks incredibly smug at his amazing prowess. Until a big pellet of ice hits him in the eye, that is.]

[magentarific]

What--?! [ she puts her arms over the back of her head, only holding on with her legs now. if Eusine so much as flops down again or bucks her off she'll probably fall. ]

[He doesn't flop down, exactly, but he does sit to rub at his eye with a paw. Stupid hail.
He's not even trying to topple Yuri over this time! He just... momentarily forgot she was on his back. Yeah, that hail thing was totally well thought through. Now if only he could figure out how to stop it...
It would be so much simpler if Pokémon abilities came with an on/off switch.]

Ah! [ Yuri slides down his back right onto her butt on the ground. ]

Turn it off, stupid! [ It's only around them so it had to be the Pokemon right!? ]

[He glances over his shoulder to look at Yuri... and grins. It's smug, obviously, but also just a tiny bit apologetic.
Just a bit.
In that "well, what if I can't" way.]
