[ Yuri heads over there pretty soon after that conversation, not bothering to say bye since they'll see each other again soon. If Kitty isn't already there, she's grabbing a table. ]

[Kitty shows up a few minutes after.]

Yuri?

It's nice to meet you. [Kitty took a seat. Hopefully that's okay.]

You too. [ She's fine with that. Once Kitty sits down, she folds her hands, elbows on the table. ] Are you new here or have you been here a while? I need to know how much to fill you in.

Well, I've been here for, like, a month. Is there something I wasn't told about?

Do you know about the kidnapping droids? [ Yuri leans forward slightly. Like they're talking about some kind of secret. Except she didn't lower her voice at all :| ]

Well, yeah. I mean I read about them, but able had to deal with them myself.

I want to kidnap a kidnapping droid.

[ Keep it simple for now. ]

Is that possible?

I don't know, but I'd like to try it and I need [ She puts up her index and middle finger. ] two things to do that.

Alright. Well, I'm happy to help. And you know, I can do more than just do things with computers.

Before you go telling me everything you can do, I'm going to tell you a little bit about what's going on besides me just wanting something done, since you probably should know if you want to help I'm probably going to ask more than once.

[ Yuri leans back in her seat, eyes closing for a moment. She looks pretty serious. It's better to have informed consent before Kitty gets involved in anything. ]

You already know my name's Yuri Nakamura, but I'm the leader of the SSS; ignore what that stands for, we haven't come up with a secondary name so I'm just recycling the one from my world. Our goal here is to get everyone who wants out of here out and get the Malnosso to stop screwing around with human experiments. We're going to do it without killing anyone.

[ And she smiles. It's important to add that last part. ]

Totally. Sounds like what I did at home. [She is an X-man.] Maybe I should tell you what I can do then.

[Kitty gets up and walks to the nearest wall. She looks back at Yuri to smile, then she just walks right through the wall. After a second, to make sure Yuri gets it, she leans through the wall once more. Half of her body inside and the other half outside.]

I have a few tricks up my sleeve. [She walks back in after that, sitting back down.]

[ At the very least, she met Kurt, in an awkward situation that they probably shouldn't talk about because of fluffy tree feelings, and she knows Naoi from her world so this doesn't completely surprise her.

Bonus for her being able to heal pretty fast on account of previous deadness. ~~Too bad she can't use the other ability they got in the afterlife.~~

Not that it made it any less surprising, but most of that's still inside Yuri's head. ]

"I can walk through walls" would've been okay too, but that's definitely pretty useful.

But that was more fun. [She grins.] Usually, my powers can mess with technology too. I haven't tried it on those things, but apparently powers don't work on them.

I'm wondering if we can't lure them into the tunnels where no one's powers work. I'm sure they wouldn't be able to do any fancy tricks or anything. You said you're good with technology right? Any way you could build something that could fry their circuits?

Well, I'm only just learning, so if you have someone and they need an assistant, then I'll happily help out. I'm willing to try though.

Hmm. Well, you're all I've got right now so we'll see what goes on. What's the most advanced level you'd say you're at?

Well, I got an A in my computer science class. I guess that's an intermediate?

That's more than I know.

Then I'll just study up at the library. See what I can learn here.
