[Bruce will likely be somewhere in the back of the library. Because obviously when you're going to meet someone you should make yourself as hard to find as possible! Though honestly, he hadn't planned on going that far back. He just kind of got wrapped up with all the books.]

[ Especially to someone whose total time in the library was literally just meeting up with someone else. She's not bothering to look outside this time to see if he would wait for her somewhere that made sense to wait, since her other meeting hadn't gone that way either.

That doesn't mean she doesn't have to go up and down every damn aisle afterward to look for someone that she doesn't really know what looks like outside of the picture on the journal. ]

[Luckily you won't be searching too long! Because on one of the isles, there will be Bruce! Looking through a shelf full of magic books! He's surprisingly researching everything about magic he can despite being a scientist. He started this mostly after he learned about Fillial Magic and for the most part mastered it. He see's her out of the corner of his eye.]

I spoke with someone else who's okay with tech, so if you're better she'll be your assistant if you choose to accept. [ Wow she's really not going for a library voice is she? Same tone as she always uses though. ] I want to kidnap a kidnapping droid. I've got some ideas about how to, but I need people who are going to be able to pop one open and see if we can reroute their wiring to use a shift to open up the barrier for us.

I think I could do something like that. The only problem is that those androids are insanely strong. I know first hand. [They gave the HULK trouble.] There are few people who can compete with them in terms of raw power and the Malnosso aren't inclined to let you keep one of their parts. If you can even get past the first wave of robots, a second wave will probably arrive in five to ten minutes. Give or take.

[He counts on his fingers.]

So first, you're going to need someone or someones who can beat them in combat. Second, you're going to need people who can dissect them. Third, they need to make the shift-- if that's possible-- in the span of five or ten minuets before you're over run. [He let's out a sigh for a moment before taking a deep breath.] And fourth? You need to be able to not only predict when these things attack, but get there before the androids leave.

Your best bet for the last one? Become friends with someone who is actually strong enough to stall those things and--[This is going to sound so mean isn't it.]-- hope they are the ones the Malnosso want to target for their next Mallynapping at some point. They'll have to be the "bait" for this to work.

Seems like I asked the right person. [ Yuri crosses her arms, moving over to one of the tables to lean against it, eyes closed, contemplating. ]

I know it sounds a little sci-fi, but what if we managed to create some kind of electromagnetic grid that could temporarily fry their circuits? I've got people capable of fighting on my side, if we could set up a grid like that in a dead end in the tunnels, we could eliminate the number of fronts they could attack us on. It'd mean we were cornered, but if we can rewrite the programming for one of them I'm sure we could access it remotely and have it do the shift later. If the Malnosso think we lost, they'd have no reason to suspect something like that to occur later, right?

It's nothing that's impossible, but it's definitely not going to be easy. Assuming the grid did work, I imagine rewriting programming for foreign technology is something that will be insanely hard to do. If something like that can be pulled off, it might take a few attempts to get it done correctly.

I'm dead already and from what I hear, if you didn't age in the last world you were in, you won't age here. Last place I was in was the afterlife. I've got time for a hundred thousand tries if I have to.

[ She smiles, almost cheerfully. ]

I'd definitely prefer it to be less, though. If you're any good at technology, you'd definitely be a help for this. I'd like you to join the SSS, a group dedicated to overthrowing the Malnosso and getting anyone who wants to get back to their worlds back. Oh, and I'm Yuri Nakamura, the leader of the SSS. I think we skipped introductions.

[ She's holding out her hand now. ]

Ahh. I guess that means you're not exactly a normal young lady are you?

[This kind of stuff reeeeally shouldn't surprise him at this point. He shakes her hand with his on with a nod and a smile.]

Yeah, I think we might have. I'm Bruce Banner. I don't know how much help I'll be to the group, but I'll do as much as I can to help out.

[ At the first comment, she simply smiles. ] Let's just say I've got practice leading rebellions. [ And a firm handshake later.. ] Welcome to the SSS, Bruce!

Why is it called the SSS?

Recycled name from my world. "SSS" stands for Shinda Sekai Sensen, or Afterlife Battlefront. Obviously this isn't the afterlife, but no one's suggested another name yet or if they have it's been completely bad.

Well, it's not a bad name to use. Luceti does give everyone angelic like wings, so it can be taken in that way I guess?

[Or something like that.]

[ Stares at him like he just said something weird. ]

No one in the afterlife actually had wings. [ A pause. ] Except Kanade once, but she made those herself so they don't count.

Oh. Well I guess I'm not all that familiar with the afterlife. Aside from what I've heard anyway.

If you want to find out more about the workings of Luceti or listen to theories there's also a club here called S.H.E.L.L. It's a group that meets sporadically-- somewhere close to every month or every other month-- and we discuss our theories with each other. [...well. He might as well warn her now.] The group is led by a giant turtle by the name of Donatello.

I met a blue guy a while back, I've seen talking ponies around here, and some of the stories I've heard are a lot weirder than a big turtle. It's surprising, but nothing to freak out about.
