[ Ohai Yuri is looking pretty serious! Not that she usually looks silly, she just.. looks like she's got an idea. It's not a bad thing, of course. First things first. ]

Medium level rewards to get some technology. But Chakan oil is surprisingly common - any level should suffice.

Is there any tech that would contain Chakan Oil that we could extract? It might be an even better idea to ask for the wrong tech so that we can get spare parts and what we need while misleading them about what we're using it for.

No, the oil would be more misleading. While it's a key component in pulse weaponry and also a component in pulse cores for other technology, requisitions for items that use it would stand out all the more than using a base component.

[Inhale] Of course, if you believe it would be prudent, I'd suggest a pulse rifle, or [and there's a snort, somewhat amused laugh here] perhaps a frag cannon.

[ She laughs. GOOD JOKE, SCORPIUS, GOOD JOKE. Her sense of humor is strange. ] Asking for rifles or cannons sounds even more suspicious. There's no non-military use for it?

Once it's in oil form? Generators, or anything that uses pulse technology. [A long suffering shrug] I am, after all, a military commander, Yurippe. My specialties show.

And your specialties are great, but if we want to do that we've got to think outside of the weaponized box with laser-based security systems. What kind of generators? We could pretend we just want one in case the power goes out again.

[ jfc okay she has to think about that for a second. She probably could though. ] As long as you didn't poke anything vital, but if you just need stomach acid can't I just throw up? [ THERE ARE EASIER WAYS TO GET THAT, SCORPIUS. ] It'd be a lot faster, too.

[He says this with a straight face... but then watching the way her body's heat moves...] Ideally, soldiers in the field would capture a hynerian and mix the roots right in one of them stomachs before cutting them out. But... [A light smirk] Alas.

You are correct though, a vivisection would not be strictly necessary.

[ Touching is not cool. Nobody touches her, really. Not without getting smacked, so Scorpius is probably pretty lucky she's just going to push his hand off to the side with hers. ]

Extraction. [Inhale] Probably medicated, it's a simple fluid draining procedure. Though... I confess, I don't know what compounds exist in human stomach acid.

[He tilts his head] ...If indeed you are human.

I am human, I'm just dead. Everything's completely normal except that I get over things more quickly. Less here. If we were in my world you could cut off my head and I'd be okay in less than a day. Here I can only heal from non-fatal wounds. So if my arm breaks, I just snap it back into place and it'll be better in a few minutes. That's the only thing that's different about me compared to a normal human being.

--Fluid drainage how? [ She might prefer the vivisection if it's something she doesn't want to do this way. She's not afraid of pain. ]

The same way you would from a lung, obviously.

Alright. If you are friends with a person, you can get within elbow's distance if you hold it out like this. [ She holds her elbow out with her arm folded. ] That's the distance you're allowed to get. If you aren't friends with the person, then you should be arm's length. [ She unfolds her arm to show him that. ] Touching of anything other than the arms or a tap on the back is not permitted. That's a violation of peoples' personal bubbles. Touching peoples' faces and things is an intimate act that you do when you're auditioning for creepy villain of the year or you're in a romantic relationship with them.

[ She points at him now. ] Put that in your own words and summarize it back to me now, I want to make sure you got it.

Since I'm not in a romantic relationship with anyone, I'm going with creepy right now, uh huh. So let's change it to friendship where you're allowed to bump me in the arm or occasionally elbow me and I don't feel the urge to start screaming "stranger danger" so everyone can hear me.

[ She shrugs and then puts her hands on her hips. ]
