[ She hadn't gotten here that long ago, but this was a lot of people appearing. All at the same time. How in the hell did that happen?

Yuri's standing outside and staring at the sheer mass of the crowd, looking not at all impressed. Why? Not because there's so many people, but because there's something amiss about this. Which, naturally, ends in her voice raised loudly enough to be heard at least halfway across the plaza, if not more. ]

Why do they not have to have these stupid wings!?

They don't do anything. [ She flaps them a bit, but nothing happens, as though to demonstrate. ]

Also, give her a moment, she's just.. staring for a while at them, almost a little in awe.. ] Can I.. touch them?

[ Yuri blinks at that. Okay, uh. Wing touching. That was a weird request.

It should be okay though, it's not like Kanade's harmful unless she attacks first. ]

[ What do you think she'd do, rip them off.. she just wants to feel if they're fluffy, okay. So she slowly reaches out, touching them.. ... ah, yes, it's fluffy. Apparently she approves, because there's the tiiiniest smile on her face. ]

[ She doesn't know, no one touches her wings ever. :|

She notices the smile though. Which is a little weird, but kind of cute. ]

What do you think? The color's not bad, but they're pretty annoying to have to have all the time.

I like them. [ yup, decided on liking them, hence the tiny smile. but okay, she'll stop patting them now.. ]

I don't think it'd be annoying.. I'd like to have wings like those. [ you know, she has her own, but she sort of made those herself so it's different.. these seem more natural. ]

They're pretty, but they're not the most comfortable.

[ At least she thinks so. She likes to sleep on her back, she's had to start sleeping on her stomach... this is obv. the biggest problem here. ]

[ yes, she met Otonashi right before this.. ]

When did you two get so close to start calling him by his first name?

[ ... She feels like there's something about this she isn't supposed to tell, maybe.. .. oh well. ]

I saw him before I found you here.. We talked for a bit. [ ayup. ] And he was the one who told me we could call each other by our first names back home.

You guys are pretty close, huh? [ She watches her for a moment. ]

[ is that a problem, Yuri.. also yup nothing more than that ~~yet??~~ ]

[ pause.. Yuri, what are you doing. ]

Fighting you all the time. [ She never expected to be able to even say it, especially since the last thing she remembers is getting mauled by shadows. ] You're just like we are.

[ ... An apology.. for that? She still looks a bit surprised, really, but.. it's not like she minded all the fighting - after all, if she had normally been friends with them, then.. they would have disappeared already.

So she's just going to reach out, just like in the icon, and pat Yuri on the head, even if she has to reach up. ]

... Don't worry. It's alright.

[ That.. catches Yuri off guard. She blinks, looking surprised. Since it's Kanade and Yuri feels guilty she can totally get away with it. ]

[ So cute when you're surprised, Yuri. Just let yourself be caught off guard by Kanade's cute. ]

You're welcome. [ and she smiles just a little bit again. ] ... I don't blame you for anything. [ just making sure she knows that. ]

[ Yuri's a little bit surprised at not being blamed, even though she basically just made Kanade into her enemy for no reason other than that she wanted there to be an enemy, but she's.. not going to argue with it. ]

How did you end up here, since you don't have wings?

[ Just accept it, Yuri. She was just trying to help out everyone, that's all, okay. ;; ]

That's what I don't know.. There are a lot of people around here who don't have wings either.

Everyone had wings until the other day when a ton of people started showing up without them. I saw TK and Hinata earlier too, but you guys are all still dead so there's something weird going on.

Maybe it would be easier for everyone to think about it together. Especially the difference in wings is a little strange, isn't it..?

Uhg, it's pretty hard to keep track of everyone with all these people here though!! [ FRUSTRATING OKAY?? ]

[ She offers out her hand. GET IN LOSER, WE'RE GOING SHOPPING!! ]

[ W-Wait, holding hands with Kanade.. she's not prepared to be this fluffy yet! Well, if she does it forcefully it's no problem. Yuri takes Kanade's hand then starts dragging her off in the direction. ]
