Attention all Lucetians! Or is it Lucetese... Lucetijin? Luce-- [ She cuts herself off, then puts a hand on her forehead for a moment before looking back up at the screen. She's surprisingly close to the book, so most of what you can see is, in fact, her face. ]

Anyway, that part isn't important. I need to know if anyone's good with building minor electronics? I want walkie-talkies that are handmade so that I can reach people across Luceti on our own frequency.

[ She's crosses her arms, leaning back. She's obviously sitting somewhere and this time she's definitely got her headband and a school uniform on. ]

Other than that, I've got more of a philosophical question.. or maybe existential? Some hard to answer topic. If they can erase our memories of the past few days then what do we have to prove any of our memories are real?

Memories are cherished things. Hold onto them, but don't let them consume you.

Yuri Nakamura! Though I've been informed that there's already a Yuri that leads a group, so just go with Yurippe. That's what a few people called me before I got dragged here.

[ She shrugs. ] I'm already dead, so it's not like I've got a life to look forward to. I've got things to do though and those memories help give me reason to want to.

Nice to meet you, Yurippe. May I ask where you are from?

[Luke stops, pondering her meaning at the second.]

You do have a life. Unless you're some sort of undead thing. [And Luke is NOT too keen on dead things] Or, are you only alive in Luceti?

[another unfortunate thought]

The afterlife. Japan, before that.

[ She nods. ] Only alive here. I'm not undead, like a zombie or a ghost or anything.

[Another Japanese person?]

Well, thats certainly good. The...living dead are a most disconcerting thing. Truly upsetting the balance of the Force.

The balance of the who?

The Force. In my home, its a power that permeates all living things.

What kind of power?

[Luke closes his eyes and draws in the Force, reaching across the village to Yuri, who may feel a faint tingling in the back of her head. Its a mental call. If she accepts the charges...she'll hear something like this]

It allows me to do a great many things. This...for example.

[ Yuri looks a little weirded out, but shakes it off in only a matter of seconds for curiosity. ]

So like telepathy?

[Luke drops the Force connection, reverting to the video]

A bit more than that, but that's one thing I find quite helpful.

So it's basically a safe connection as long as I'm okay with letting you inside my head? What else can you do?

Telekinesis, energy absorption, physical augmentation, enhanced senses. All sorts of stuff.

So you're just like an all-around superhero?

[Luke laughs a bit]

Sure, something like that. I'm a Jedi.

Well, Mr. Jedi, this is probably going to sound completely forward and I don't care.

The reason I need walkie talkies is to communicate with members of the rebellion I'm starting in a way that's not regulated by the Malnosso. Obviously I'm still going to ask you to do it, but I figure I should let you know why before you get involved in something you don't want to.

[Luke visibly shrugs]

Sure. I'll help. I don't want to be here any more than you.
