Yet. It's not like you cut me up yet. I think I felt safer with the spider.

[ ...Except that time that she cut out evil!Angel's throat after she was already down.

But it's not like they were friends or anything. ]

I've never cut up someone I'm on good terms with. [ Specifically cutting up they're only talking about okay!? ]

Well, Yuri. Words cannot express how utterly not-reassuring that is.

[He is all too aware of her choice of words there.]

[magentarific]

Hey, that person kidnapped someone that I wanted to be friends with and was trying to kill off-- [ She pauses. ] I got used to using living terms. Take out all of us until we completely submitted to her. I had an excuse to want to take special care of her.

[markofthewise]

[Color him confused. He has absolutely no idea what she's talking about.]

Her? Her who?

[magentarific]

The person whose throat I cut out. [ In which "special care" means mutilation. ] Well, she wasn't really a person, she was a weapon that came from a person. It's complicated. Needless to say, it was well-deserved and not a real human.

[markofthewise]

Yuri, your story telling skills need some work. Lots and lots of work.

[She lost him entirely there.]

[magentarific]

If I were telling the story we'd be here a lot longer. [ LOOK THE DOOR!! ] I'm just saying, the violence was justified that time. Other times not so much, but I've never cut anyone up if they didn't deserve it.

[markofthewise]

Riiight. Let's just get out of here.

[Sokka ducks down under the door. They don't need to open it, right? Just cross it.]

[magentarific]

I haven't been violent since getting here at least, that's all you need to take out of it. [ No stress relief though besides trying to play sports, but it's not quite as satisfying when you're not the best anymore too.

Yuri eyes him for a moment, then shrugs and follows him under the door. Hopefully this will work. ]

I feel like a bug.

[markofthewise]

That's because we are bugs. But once we get through this door, hopefully we'll be our normal old selves again.

[Sokka waddles on through. Where they end up? Well, that's the lady's choice.]

[magentarific]

You can be the one with feelers and extra legs, I'll a very tiny girl.

[ They're not back in Kansas yet! Nope, this time the ground drops off as soon as they get past the door and suddenly they're dropping into a clothing store.

Of course, Yuri has no idea and thinks that the lights just went way the hell out because she fell in a poofy warm winter's jacket pocket and can barely see out the top. ]

Sokka!?

[markofthewise]

Out here!

[Sokka fell too, but just on the outside of it. He's hanging on the edge of the pocket to keep from falling. He's trying to pull himself up.]

[magentarific]

Out where?! I can't see anything! [ Yuri's patting along the sides of the pocket now to try to see where she even is. ]

[markofthewise]

Here!

[He kicks the outside of the pocket. It's thick enough she'll likely not even feel it, though.]

[magentarific]

[ She heard it at least. An odd "pomf" sound. ]

What the hell was that supposed to be?

[markofthewise]

[Sokka finally pokes his head over the edge.]

It was me! We're in some kind of fuzzy... place. I can't really tell.

[magentarific]

[ Wow, his voice is a lot less muffled when he's talking directly into the pocket. Yuri looks up, trying to push the sides of the pocket more open so she's got a better view. ]

How come you end up on the outside and I ended up trapped?

[markofthewise]

I don't know! Maybe you were just lucky.

[Sokka reaches down with arm.] Can you reach?

[magentarific]

[ Yuri picks up the knifes which had been dropped when she hit the pocket and puts them in her raincoat pockets, then she squats down, then jumps up and grabs onto his hand. She's kind of dangling now, so Sokka better have been holding on tight. ]

[markofthewise]

It's a good thing you're tiny or this would be really difficult.

[He's not in the best of positions to manage this, but he keeps from dropping her or falling on top of her. It takes a concerted effort, but he pulls her up enough that she should be able to grab the edge of the pocket. Do the rest of the work herself, so to speak.]

[magentarific]

[ Yuri considers that for a moment, unsure if he's refering to the normal amount of tiny or the fact that they're both tiny. Since they're both tiny, she's pretty sure that it wouldn't matter otherwise.

Not that it looks like there's much delay in response, since this is going on while she's being pulled up. She grabs onto the side of the pocket and pulls herself up so that she's got both arms folded over the edge.

So what now. Yuri looks down and around. She'd thought leaving would make them, well, big again even if they ended up somewhere else. ]

Any idea how to be a normal amount of tinier than you?

[markofthewise]

[Consider it good and long, tiny! Regardless, Sokka is watching the floor with a slight look of resigned despair. The last time he'd been shrunk, during Halloween, it was in the clothing store. That had been awful.]

Find another door?

[ Hmmm...

Yuri looks out around the place, trying to decide what to do. Falling from here wouldn't be good and clothing wasn't going to rip if they held onto it at this size. ]

Let's find a hoody!

[ They've got those cords that piss you off when they're in the wash and end up entirely on one side-- but they can probably manage to get one of those down at least halfway. ]
